Outdoor More in 2024 is a free, 4-day workshop for women who know they need to get outside more but need some extra motivation and inspiration to do it!

You want to go hiking more often. You used to go camping back in the day, and you want to try it again. You’ve read the articles about the healing effects of nature on your body, mind, and spirit, and you’re intrigued…

But you haven’t exactly been active for the last few years and you’re not feeling all that healthy (hello, pandemic stress).

You’re tired. You’re busy. Sure, going on some hikes would definitely be good for you, but you’re nervous about taking anything else on…and you’re probably not down with sleeping on the ground at this point.

Yet, there’s a part of you wishing to spend more time outdoors. She whispers to you in the quiet moments, begging for a break from it all: the notifications, the expectations, the never-ending complications.

What we’ll cover in the workshop

Day 1: Why

Today we cover the myriad reasons to spend more time outside this year. Learn how hiking, camping, and spending more time outside can make profound improvements to your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Don’t skip this day—you’ll build your own custom manifesto to inspire and encourage you to get back out there when you “fall off the wagon” or when things feel tough.

Day 2: What

An in-depth, expert-led discussion around all the clothing, gear, and equipment you need to venture out more safely, comfortably, and stylishly than ever before! Bring alllll your questions for the Q&A.

Day 3: Where

Today we solve two of the biggest challenges I hear about from the women I work with—”I don’t know where to go” and “I don’t want to go alone!” I’ll teach you how to find and select the best destinations based on the season, your abilities, and your preferences, then cultivate a community of outdoorsy friends who want to go with you.

Day 4: How

It’s time to become the adventurer you’ve always wanted to be. Today’s workshop prevents this dream from becoming another one of those new year’s resolutions that never stuck (and made you feel bad about yourself for your lack of follow-through). Let’s set goals that excite and inspire you, then figure out exactly what support structures you’ll need in order to stay on the path and see this through to the summit!
